Las Vegas will be held again at
the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with
over 300,000 people in attendance.
The festival will be held over 3
days and will include performances
from over 100 EDM artists from
around the world. The official Phase
1 lineup has been released by
Insomniac, which includes
performances from Tiesto, Above &
Beyond, Afrojack, Pretty Lights,
Kaskade, and more.
Las
Vegas Electric Daisy Carnival is an
annual electronic dance music
festival held on the last weekend of
June in Southern California from
1997 to 2010, and in Las Vegas in
. In recent years, satellite
events have been held in Dallas,
Puerto Rico and Colorado. Attendees
are commonly dressed in neon
rave-like attires. For example:
women may dress in brightly coloured
bikinis. People will also be seen
wearing beaded PLUR (peace, love,
unity, respect) bracelets to give to
one another during the time of the
festival. In 2009, the festival was
expanded to a two day event, which
brought in 130,000 attendees. The
Las Vegas event is confirmed for 3
days in , making it the largest
electronic dance festival outside
Europe.
Las
Vegas Motor Speedway, located in
Clark County, Nevada, is a 1,200
acres (490 ha) complex of multiple
tracks for automobile racing. The
complex is owned by Speedway
Motorsports, Inc. which is
headquartered in Charlotte, North
Carolina. On March , Insomniac
Electric Daisy Carnival anounced
that their yearly venue will take
place at the Las Vegas Motor
Speedway.The average yearly
carnivals attendance is close to the
sum of 100,000 people. The carnivals
attendance for the event on Friday
and Saturday is around 325,000
people each of the first two of
three nights. Insomniac Events
stated EDC Las Vegas will be at
the number one spot for greatest
raves in the world.
