Event Information:
Nocturnal Wonderland, is a massive
electronic music festival that has
been steadily growing and brings the
biggest names in music and dance to
an audience of up to 50,000 musical
enthusiasts. On Labor Day Weekend
2010, Insomniac surprised many fans
by introducing Nocturnal Festival
Texas held at Apache Pass
Fairgrounds in Rockdale, Texas, just
outside of Austin. This event became
not only the first Nocturnal
Festival outside of California, but
also the first multi-day Nocturnal
being held on September 4th through
the 5th. Insomniac would further
surprise fans by announcing
Nocturnal Festival California will
also be two days in , as well as
returning to the name Nocturnal
Wonderland. Nocturnal Wonderland
Texas in takes place on April
27 and 28 at Rockdale.

Rockdale is a city in Milam County,
Texas, United States. The population
was 5,440 at the 2000 census.
Rockdale was the site of a large
Alcoa smelting operation, which
could produce 1.67 million pounds of
aluminum per day. The ALCOA plant
was closed in late 2008 - early
2009. Author George Sessions Perry
was born in Rockdale on May 5, 1910,
and lived much of his life there.
Mary Sue Whipp Hubbard, the third
wife of L. Ron Hubbard, was a
Rockdale native.
