east-central France in the
Rhône-Alpes region, situated between
Paris and Marseille. Lyon is located

from Turin, and 600 km (373 mi) from
Barcelona. The residents of the city
are called Lyonnais (singular and

professional football team,
Olympique Lyonnais, has increased
